100% fresh Australian pork, water, salt, Mineral Salts (451, 452), antioxidant (316), Vegetable Gum (412), preservatives (250).
Firstly we remove the loin and top section of the belly from a lean pork middle. Further trimming improves both leanness and appearance. We then inject and marinade the loin for two days before massaging to enhance both flavour and texture. The final stage is when we string tie the kassler to keep a uniform shape before the final cooking and smoking process.
Eight weeks provided the packaging is intact and the product is kept below 5°C. Once opened, the product should be consumed within five days.
This is a fully cooked product which can be consumed either hot or cold.
